Laser Resurfacing

There are many options available to provide quick and fast relief of aging, tired looking complexions. Laser Resurfacing has the most dramatic and lasting effect.

Laser Resurfacing is a great option to consider if you want to remove pigmented lesions of the face, sun damaged skin, and/or fine lines and deep wrinkles on the face.

A full face laser resurfacing will also tighten facial skin and rejuvenate the entire face. It literally takes years off your appearance.

Who is NOT a good candidate for Laser Resurfacing?

People who have recently used Acutane medication should not have Laser Resurfacing. People with very dark skin, or problems with allergies, issues with scarring, or a history of radiation treatment should consult openly with Dr. Stosich before undergoing this procedure.

Laser Skin resurfacing is performed in our surgical suite under general anesthesia. The high energy light waves of the laser will vaporize the top layer of skin. Bleeding and trauma are minimal.

After the surgery you can expect swelling, crusting and redness of the skin. The redness will persist for about 6 weeks to a few months following surgery. You will be left with new, pink skin that is finer, and virtually wrinkle free.
